For 23 years, Home-Start Ashford has been supporting local families with at least one child under five years of age. Volunteers make weekly visits alleviating the stresses associated with raising a young family. Families may be lonely, isolated, experiencing ill health or disability, living in poor housing or struggling to cope with the needs of multiple children. Home-Start Ashford volunteers help by providing emotional and/or practical help and encouraging the fun times that parents and children enjoy together.
