Every new iteration of the Mercedes S Class is often coined as the best yet, but it’s true to say that Mercedes really do improve it every time- with the latest technology often appearing first in the S Class before trickling down to other models in their range.
The new Mercedes S Class was revealed this week- and features state of the art equipment such as all-LED headlights, a system that scans the road ahead and adjusts the suspension to suit, safety is also further improved to incredible standards and new features include “belt bags” on the rear seats.
There’s four engines to start production initially, the S350CDI V6 diesel, a powerful S500 V8 petrol, and two hybrids- the S300 diesel and S400 petrol.
UK prices are yet to be confirmed, but we can’t wait to have a drive of this real class leading Mercedes when it arrives in September!
Now to be available in just two specification levels, SE and AMG Sport- it’ll be much easier to choose the E Class for your needs. Although just two trim levels, the number of accessories available has increased.
Inside, there’s subtle improvements over the outgoing model such as full electric seats and a leather covering on the dashboard, dimensions stay the same; suffice to say it’s roomy as ever.
